pt_bullet The Higher Frequencies CAFL Library

As you might know, the PFG Lab software incorporates the publicaly freely available frequency list (know by many as CAFL - The Consolidated Annotated Frequency List) that is available at www.electroherbalism.com website. This list has been intergrated into PFG Lab software as a library for an easier access to the available frequencies.

Throughout the years, Pulsed Technologies has encouraged customers to use higher frequencies over the old ones, low/very low frequencies, the ones under 10,000 Hz (10 kHz). Most of the CAFL frequencies are low(er) frequencies. This is due to most of the devices used by people that have contributed to the CAFL list were not capable of running higher frequencies (maximum around 10 or top 15 kHz). Pulsed Technologies refers to higher frequencies as frequencies above 30,000 Hz (30 kHz) through 300,000 Hz (300 kHz).

There are a number of benefits from using higher frequencies, most important:

  • when used in contact mode, the body (skin, nerves, muscle) doesn't react the same way, being more tolerant to the electrical current that passes through electroedes when at higher frequencies... because of this people can use higher ampltitude (power) current to be used safely.
  • closer (or right on) to the real resonant frequency (or as it is known in literature, the MOR - Mortal Osciallatory Rate) because you start with a high harmonic of the original frequency - please refer to our documentation available on our site to understand this better
  • eliminating identical frequencies, even original one are different, but their harmonics are the same. Example: frequency 776 and 1552 produce the same harmonic of 49,664 Hz (in this case 1552 is the double of 776...); there are many other examples. Our online Higher Frequencies Calculator can help you understand better what frequencies are the same and removed from the final recommended numbers.
  • fewer frequencies used, less time spent with running a session
  • ...

The CAFL Higher Frequencies (CAFL-HF) will be available in the next release of our software (after November 28th, 2010)*.

How to Download and Install the CAFL-HF Library on your current PFG Lab v1 installation

Steps:

  1. Download: Click here to download the PT-CAFL-HF.zip from here. (File size 637 kB - less than 1 MB) and save it to your Desktop or another location.
  2. Start PFG Lab v1 software.
  3. frequency library button Click on Freq. Library button (under Current Session) and a new window (Frequencies Library) will open.

  4. import from file button Click on Import from file button and browse to where you have downloaded (saved) the zip file you have downloaded at step 1. image ptcaflhfzip
  5. Select it (clcik on it) and then click on the Open buton.
    ptcaflhf open

The process will take a couple of minutes or more, depending on your computer performance. Once done, close the application and restart it and you will be able to see this new library as in the image below.
